General Artist's Statement:

I am most often concerned with how the elements of my work tell a story. Formal in nature, my work is meant to be viewed as objects that exemplify concepts that I have found intriguing or thought provoking. Often I wish to reflect man’s interaction with nature through the creation of objects that tell of the passage of time. So much of my work as an artist is about seeing things. The art of seeing is fascinating and endless in scope. There is an ocean of inspiration out there. It’s my job to keep looking and keep talking. Hopefully this will result in glorifying One Creator: maker of all I see.

Mr. Ellerbroek is a multimedia sculptor who works in various mediums including steel, wood, stone and found objects. He also has extensive experience and skill as a professional snow sculptor. In recent years he has begun to work in photography as away to express his interests in composition and texture.
